1. About Choufy.com
Choufy.com is a business directory and events guide for the Chouf district of Lebanon. The platform is owned and developed by ITE (https://ite.ae) in 2025. All software, design and database rights in the platform belong to ITE.
2. Using the directory
You may browse, search and contact listed businesses free of charge. You agree not to scrape, resell or republish listing data, and not to use contact details for unsolicited marketing.
3. Business accounts and listings
Business owners may register an account and submit a listing. You confirm that you are authorised to represent the business and that all details — name, location, contact numbers, prices, services and products — are accurate and lawful. Every listing and every later edit is reviewed by Choufy before it is published, and we may publish, unpublish, edit, or reject a listing at our discretion, with a reason where appropriate.
4. Events
Event organisers may submit events to the What's On section. Events are reviewed before publication. Booking links must point to the organiser's own page or a legitimate ticketing partner.
5. Orders, services and payments
Choufy lists products and services offered by independent businesses. Orders placed on the site are passed to the business, which is solely responsible for fulfilment, quality, pricing, delivery and after-sales service. Payment is settled directly with the business (for example cash on delivery) unless stated otherwise. Choufy is not a party to any contract between you and a business.
6. Referral tracking
Enquiries sent through the site — including WhatsApp messages — carry a Choufy reference code so that leads can be attributed. By contacting a business through Choufy you accept that the business will see this reference.
7. Content and intellectual property
Businesses keep ownership of the text and photos they upload and grant Choufy a non-exclusive licence to display, resize and promote that content on the platform and its social channels. Do not upload content you do not own the rights to.
8. Accuracy and liability
Listing information — including directory records compiled from public sources — is provided as is. Choufy and ITE do not warrant that details are complete, current or error-free, and are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the directory or from dealings with a listed business.
9. Suspension
We may suspend or remove any account, listing or event that breaches these terms, misleads users, or harms the reputation of the platform.
